Your ears perked up a little while you still glared at the brown haired werewolf in front of you. It smelled female. Ignoring the call you got earlier you lowered your hind legs, making yourself ready to pounce. The male’s voice rang out to you again as footsteps echoed into the hallway, coming closer with every step. You felt Mihawk’s uneasiness and confused state. You didn’t attack and merely watched warily. “I don’t know her.” You told him and he looked from one wolf to the other before looking over to the male. You finally smelled the wave of his scent and looked over confused as you raised a little. (e/c) eyes locked with blue ones as you turned your head around over your shoulder. A growl build up inside of your chest before you released it dangerously towards the male. “You fucking ass.” You yelled before sprinting towards his blond form and jump on his chest, snapping at his face. The male stayed as calm as possible while you ranted at him. Your words of hurt washed over him as he closed his eyes and raised his hand.

The caress caught you off guard and a stray tear rolled down your furry cheek. “I’m still sorry, (y/n).” The male under you whispered as your ears flattened on your head. “You have no idea how much and how long I’ve missed him and you.” The soft caress of fingers and the palm ran over your ear, down your neck and stopped at your shoulderblade. “I’m so, so sorry.” You saw the glistening of the tears he spilled running down his temple to the ground under him before you nudged him with your nose, urging him to open his eyes for you.

“Sabo..” You murmered lowly, looking sadly at the younger male. You let your body collapse on him as his arms wrapped themselves around your form. In your subconscious you felt Mihawk getting jealous and confused at the same time, so you got back to your feet, looked sadly at the blond and trotted over to the full-vampire, giving him a calming vibe to calm his nerves. His knuckles were white from his large amount of pressure he had put on the hilt of his black sword, distracting himself a little.

You nuzzled your nose into the palm of Mihawk’s hand and looked up at him with pleading eyes. The male opened his mouth to say something, anything at all, but Sabo beat him to it. “So you have bound yourself to him?” You closed your eyes and pushed yourself against Mihawk’s leg before turning around to stand firmly in front of him.

“Is that a crime?” Sabo raised his palms to the air after getting back to his feet, surrendering to your tone, and shook his head.

“No, it’s not.” His eyes shot to Mihawk before lowering back to your wolf-form. “At least not to me.” He flashed a smile. The unknown female patted over to him, snuggling her nose to his palm like you did to Mihawk. “We did the same after all.” His hand stroke the fur of the wolf lovingly. “Like you know, Dragon is very accepting after all. Vampire and wolf alike. He could take you in too, if you like.”

Your (e/c) orbs flickered back to Mihawk’s as you tilted your head towards him. “Mihawk? We won’t if you don’t want to.” You knew he was cautious. Knew he didn’t trust it and to be honest.. you didn’t either. Why would Dragon send his youngest member just to say we would be accepted? Questions started to fill your mind as you unconsciously took a step forward. A wolf needed a pack. A vampire needed solitude. And these facts were starting to tear at you.

Mihawk never answered your question, feeling your doubt flowing in his veins. Sabo’s hand was stretching to you as the female stared at you with her brown eyes. You were captivated by it, wishing to have a pack again. Clouded by this wish, you were already halfway towards the blond. Your left paw stopped mid-air as you sniffed the air near him. Something was wrong. The air vibrated too wildly. It wasn’t filled with just vampires and only one wolf. A new whiff took over your senses and it made you crash right back into reality.

“No, Sabo.” The hesitation you felt earlier had a reason, you now knew. Your hair raised on your back as you lowered your front side of your body, baring your teeth. Sabo raised his brow to you in question. You shadowed your feelings, locking Mihawk out of the twirling emotions you were experiencing. Confusion was starting to lose to anger and sadness. Happiness was nowhere to be found in your mind. The voice you would only use to command others around was raising in your throat. The authority you had started to develop dripped off of it as you spoke. You may or may not be an alpha to your kind, but you will always fight for your own believes. “Mihawk. Get out of here, right now.” You spat to him. You didn’t try to be cold. Didn’t mean to as you said those words.

“(y/n)?” Sabo’s voice reached your ears you had flattened. “What do you mean?”

“What I mean is that he should leave to outrun this madness he wouldn’t want to be part of.” You retorted, speaking for the older male. The moment you spoke them however, you regretted it. You can’t speak for him. You’re not his leader, not his alpha, and you shouldn’t speak for him. “Mihawk.. I..” You started, looking back to him. “I’m sorry.” You lowered your head in shame. It wasn’t that the vampire wasn’t used to your dominance, he had seen it many times before. He just wasn’t used to have it turned towards him and you felt ashamed for it as you didn’t wish to use it. Not at him at least.

Sabo took a sharp breath of air before he told the female to investigate. He brought his hands behind his back as he spoke. “Maybe you’re right. We should leave. But you should come with us, (y/n).” You narrowed your eyes at him before turning around to fully face the vampire you had learned to love over time. You searched his eyes for something, anything. They were cold, distant even. Suddenly his nose wrinkled as if in disgust and yellow eyes flitted towards the window before the crash echoed in the room. Strong arms lifted your canine form from the ground as legs pushed themselves quickly away from the broken glass that spattered around, falling to the ground quickly.

A guttural growl followed the crash immediately. The strength keeping you in the strong arms became more and you whipped your head towards the growling sound. (e/c) orbs widened at the sight. A red striped wolf stood in front of the two of you, body low to the ground, ready to pounce. Teeth bared towards the small group you were forming.

Whines came from the side Sabo had jumped to with his brownfurred wolf. Her paw was striped with red as the smell of copper filled the air. Wind blew harshly inside through the broken window and Akainu’s eyes glared into your (e/c) ones. “You. His voice boomed with authority, making you wince ever so slightly in front of him. Ears twitched when Mihawk let you slip back to touch the ground. His right hand reached over his shoulder to grab the black sword Mihawk always held with him. You took a step back towards the vampire as Akainu growled another time, louder even. “Leaving your own pack and fiancé. You really think you would survive any longer after that? After the crime you committed?”

Other wolves crashed through the doors in front and behind you. Sabo’s eyes turned red in anger as his female limped in front of him, licking her paw a little to ease the pain. “And you really thought I would stay after your own crimes?” Hairs raised up on your neck and back as you locked eyes with the male in front of you, growling as loud as he did. A black boot came into your line of sight and you looked up confused. “Mihawk, what..?” The sword that resided on his back mere seconds ago was in his hands, ready to strike. Yellow eyes turned red as his lips pulled themselves into a thin line of annoyance.

He didn’t say anything, letting the silence be the communication as he stepped forth towards the other male. The pack that had gotten there scurried to the alpha male, Akainu, as he demanded them with only a huff. “Do you really think you can take us all at once? We’re a pack, you stupid bat!” The wolves chuckled and laughed lowly at Akainu. You snapped your head towards them, silencing them immediately with your menacing glare.

“Dare to insult him one more time, Akainu, and I will enjoy taking you to shreds.” Slowly you inched forward, looking from side to side to foresee a surprise attack coming from the lower wolves. Halting next to your loveable vampire, you stood merely feet away from the alpha, taking all of their attention from Sabo and the female wolf. You took in a crouched position, ready to lunch for the leader if necessary. The patter of paws was silent on the stones, only ticking of nails giving away the attack. Mihawk’s eyes snapped to the side as his sword followed, striking the wolf in its side.

He had missed the smirk Akainu was giving, his eyes flaming with rage before he lunched forward himself, taking advantage of the ignorance Mihawk was showing at the moment. Claws met flesh, teeth met Akainu’s snout at the clash and loud whines filled the cold air.

Your teeth embedded themselves in Akainu’s nose, keeping his jaws together.

Black nails dug into your neck, piercing into the vessels of blood under your skin. Rageful eyes locked with yours as a soft whine escaped your black lips. With (e/c) orbs filled with sadness and hidden anger, you started pushing the animal back. Akainu’s paws took their grip on the hard ground, deepening the wound in your neck the more pressure you applied to get the wolf away from the vampire behind you.

Another whine. A snarl. Lips curled up as teeth were bared.

Akainu pushed you away from him, glaring down at your crouched form on the ground.

“Stupid female, you’re going to die if you go on like this.” You ignored the alpha, lunching for his throat as your paws pushed you off the ground. With eyes closed, you grabbed the fur and brought your jaws together again, shaking your head with your strong neck from side to side. Akainu’s throat let a whine escape.

An unknown force charged towards the both of you and collided in your side, effectively slinging you away from your fiancé. Black spots started to dance before your eyes. Closing them for a second and shaking your head to lose the black spots sooner, you failed to notice the three strongest of wolves swarm around you like vultures in the sky, spotting an easy prey on the ground.

Opening your eyes once again, the first jumped forwards with its claws reaching for the already open skin of your neck.
Ah! I really should work on getting myself to write my stories again.
Poor Mihawk, being neglected by me :/
